Research Lab of the Jean Monnet EuDARe Chair
The interns will participate in the research and communication activities of the Jean Monnet Chair Challenges to Democracy and Representation in the EU (EuDARe) coordinated by Prof. Marcello Carammia.
The research projects concern political representation on both the demand and supply sides.
The Populist Mood project (PopMood) and the Migration Mood project (MigMood) analyze respectively the populist mood and the mood towards immigration in public opinion. The projects make use of survey data (mainly, but not exclusively, Eurobarometer) to reconstruct long-term measures of the attitudes of interest.
Interested interns will also be able to contribute to the administration and communication activities of the chair’s work, which will include the organization and publicization of events, social media management, website management, preparation of podcasts, and similar activities.
