What’s next? Mentoring seminars for international careers
A pilot seminar series on mentoring for international careers, designed in collaboration with the master’s programme in Global Politics and Euro-Mediterranean Relations (GLOPEM). Open to advanced students and recent graduates of the DSPS master’s programmes, as well as selected PhD students interested in international careers.
Over two days (26–27 September 2024), plenary seminars covered what mentoring is, how to choose a career, how to write a compelling cover letter and CV, and how to prepare for an interview – followed by one-to-one mentoring sessions.
The mentor, Alessandra Casano, is a former Knowledge Management Analyst at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), a certified Mentoring Project Manager and Scheme Designer with the Italian Mentoring School, with 16 years’ experience in international cooperation.
