Destra radicale populista ed estrema destra in Europa
A seminar of the Jean Monnet Chair Challenges to Democracy and Representation in the EU (EuDARe), in Aula XXI Marzo, Palazzo Pedagaggi.
Prof. Mattia Zulianello, of the Università di Trieste, on populism, the radical right, and the extreme right: three labels that circulate constantly in public debate, often used as synonyms despite their differences. Drawing on recent research, the lecture reconstructed their meanings and mapped populist, radical, and extremist parties in contemporary Europe, their ideological foundations, and their growing weight in democratic politics.
